Held at the beautiful Curraweena House, a heritage listed home built in 1920 decorated in a modern Hamptons style with a fireplace & cottage seasonal garden.The property also contains an air conditioned yoga barn. Curraweena House Retreat, is located in Kurrajong, in the Hawkesbury District at the foothills of the Blue Mountains.

About Your Hosts:

Jessica Fenech, Yoga teacher.

Jess discovered yoga as a way to find balance in her overstimulated life & soon realised that she wanted to help others feel the same way. Jess has a very warm, yet practical approach to yoga, making it accessible to everyone. Over the weekend you can expect to move your body with breath in a supportive way to feel more present, grounded & open. Jess classes have been described as "medicine for the soul".

Anthia is the author of I am Food - Eating Your Way To Health. "My mission, as always has been to serve, support & inspire you - to take care of your health; to help you holistically heal; to fall in love with nature, natural wisdom, & natural medicine; to take care of our earth & humanity; & live mindfully with a joyful heart".

Organic Wholefood Healing Meals.

Anthia Koullouros is an organic food educator & author of I am Food – Eating Your Way To Health. All nourishing, wholefood meals will be created by Anthia using organic seasonal produce & prepared according to the nutrient enhancing principles that support your gut as outlined in I am Food. The meals will be gluten free & dairy free (some sheep/ goat yoghurt & butter/ghee will be on offer), bone stock broths & eggs will be the only other animal products with a greater focus on seasonal winter vegetables, fruits & herbs. Alcohol will not be served.

Itinerary

This itinerary is an offering & not compulsory. Listen to your mind & body & feel into what you need. Sleep in, rest & disconnect or join us for every activity. Times are only approximate & will be confirmed each morning.

Thursday, 12th August 

  • 4:00pm - Arrival at Curraweena House Retreat. You will be shown to your rooms which will either be at Curraweena House or Bellview House – the adjoining property. The houses are connected by a short stroll across the paddock via a gate behind the yoga barn. We provide lanterns or torches for those staying at Bellview House after evening activities have been completed at Curraweena House. Take your time to unpack, get orientated, put your yoga clothes on & meet us back at the main house by 5:00pm.
  • 5:00pm - Meet at Curraweena House for Welcome Drinks.
  • 5:45pm - Meet at the Yoga Room set in the barn, for Gentle Yoga, Meditation & an Opening Circle. A gentle yin & restorative yoga class to help you unwind from wherever you’ve come from, & settle into the retreat.
  • 7:00pm - Dinner.
  • Herbal Nightcap.

Friday, 13th August 

  • 7:30am - Yoga with Jess.
  • 9:00am - Breakfast.
  • 10:30am - Wholefood Eating & Gut Health Workshop with Anthia.
  • Morning Personal Time*
  • 1:00pm - Lunch.
  • Afternoon Personal Time*
  • 5:00pm - Yoga with Jess.
  • 6:30pm - Dinner.
  • Herbal Nightcap.

Saturday, 14th August

  • 7:30am - Yoga with Jess.
  • 9:00am - Breakfast.
  • 10:30am - Botanical Tea Blending Workshop with Anthia.
  • Morning Personal Time*
  • 1:00pm - Lunch.
  • Afternoon Personal Time*
  • 5:00pm - Yoga with Jess.
  • 6:30pm - Dinner.
  • Herbal Nightcap.

Sunday, 15th August

  • 7:00am - Yoga with Jess + Closing Circle.
  • 8:30am - Breakfast + Maintaining Wellness At Home with Anthia.
  • 10:00am - Pack & Depart.

Terms & Conditions

  • 30 days notice is required to cancel your stay otherwise the total amount is retained.
  • For any cancellations including for reasons outside your control, we will endeavour to find a replacement attendee otherwise the total amount is retained.
  • If unforeseen circumstances like COVID-19 lockdown or the area is impacted by floods or bushfire we will change the date.  

Pricing - Shared Accommodation for 13 Guests 

  • $1200 per guest – larger room with ensuite
  • $1100 per guest – room with shared bathroom
