Mulled Xmas Tisane ~ Limited Edition (small batch of 50 only)

$27.00 $25.00

A delicious, Xmassy spice blend to drink as a warming tisane and a hot mulled wine. See the recipes below.

Organic ingredients: Hibiscus flower, Juniper berry, Mandarin & Orange segments, Cinnamon, Clove, Rosehip, Nutmeg, Rose. Caffeine free. No added flavours.

To make a warming tisane, steep one teaspoon per cup of freshly boiled water for 3-5 minutes and allow the ingredients to mature & liberate aroma. Then, enjoy it as is, or add honey for sweetness (that's how we think it's best served).

To make a hot mulled wine, steep five teaspoons in 1 litre of red wine in a pot. Add thin slices of one whole orange or apple to the pot, one tablespoon of flaked almonds, two tablespoons of dried currants, and three tablespoons of honey. Simmer on low for 20 minutes. Serve hot with a slice of Panettone or fruit cake. Add a cinnamon quill or star anise to decorate.
